What is a Sound Bath?
A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full mind and body meditation experience. The session begins with each person lying down, relaxed and eyes closed. With intention, Tracey plays sounds to invite gentle therapeutic and restorative processes in the mind and body. The sounds produced in a sound bath can help to focus and calm the mind. Sound is an anchor to help root and quiet the mind during the session. Tracey uses a variety of instruments in her sessions including: crystal and metal singing bowls, a gong, wind chimes, ocean drum and more. Sound Baths can shift your brain waves from the over-thinking loop to a calm, quiet or even a dreamlike state.

What Can I Expect to Feel?
This is very individual. You might feel sensations or vibrations in your body. You could feel tingles, chills, or goosebumps when you hear certain sounds. You might experience body temperature changes. Some individuals experience emotions. Others fall into a deep trance, meditative, or dream-like state. Some people fall into a deep sleep.
What Do I Need to Bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing. An eye mask can help to enhance the experience, but it’s not necessary. Make sure you are warm enough with socks and perhaps a blanket. Any personal items such as a blanket, pillow, or mat that help you get into your comfort zone are welcomed.
What Do I Need to Do?
All you need to do is lie back, relax, and allow yourself to experience the sensations from the sounds! It is ideal if you can stay present, awake, and aware of any feelings that come up in the moment, but it's also totally normal if you fall asleep. When you find yourself thinking, just bring your thoughts back to the sounds and the present moment.
